Rawi Kanaan is a co-Founder and Partner at the Firm.
His practice focuses on banking and finance law matters as well as general corporate and commercial law and real estate law. Over the years, Rawi Kanaan has represented clients (both large companies and high net worth individuals) in a wide range of domestic and cross border-transactions, including but not limited to the set-up of banks and financial institutions and their licensing, the set-up and creation of funds and their licensing, financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisitions and development projects. Rawi Kanaan has also advised several banks, financial institutions and companies on the set-up of their businesses in Lebanon and abroad, and he provides continuous legal advice and assistance to the Firm's clients in their legal matters including but not limited to contract drafting, contract negotiation, issuance of legal opinions, litigation and arbitration.
He holds a Licence en Droit in Lebanese Law from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and a Masters in Private Law from Saint Joseph University in Beirut.
